Usually, or just once
A morning walk, a Sunday call home, a form to send back by Friday — one shape for all of it. Something you do usually comes around on its own rhythm. Something you do just once lands on a day, follows something else, or waits for sometime.
And when a one-time thing turns into a habit, give it a rhythm — everything you've already done comes along with it.
My Day, then Everything
Two views, only two. My Day is the day in front of you, in order — with one quiet line about tomorrow, and only when tomorrow brings something today doesn't already have. Everything is the whole picture: what usually comes around, what's coming once, and what's still waiting on something.
Say when the way you’d say it
A when is put together from plain choices — which days, which part of the day, until when — and Usually reads the rule back as a sentence before you save it. So that's —
- Every weekday in the morning
- Every Tuesday and Thursday at night
- The last day of every month at 9 AM
- The 31st of every month at 9 AM (or the last day when the month is shorter)
- Every day at 8 AM until March 12, 2026
- The day after “Pay day”
Mornings and evenings stay words, not clock times — a walk in the morning reads the way you'd say it, not as 07:30.
Set aside is not missed
Choosing not to is its own fact. Set something aside and that choice is kept — put it back whenever. A day that slips past isn’t counted or held over you. No streaks, no overdue pile.
Some things just happen
Pay day isn’t something you do, so it never asks to be marked done. It keeps its place on the day, and plans can hang on it — the day after pay day is a perfectly good when.
Paused is not gone
Rest a rhythm without deleting it. Paused, it stops landing on your days until you resume — and what you’ve already done stays.
On your devices
Your days live on your devices. There is no Usually account. When you're signed in to iCloud, they stay in step across iPhone and iPad. Apple keeps that copy; we cannot read it. More in Privacy.
